Friendships are an important part of all of our lives. Good friends are hard to come by, especially loyal ones. If you enjoyed Part I of the Friendship Series, here we are back with Part II.
Too often we focus on keeping our “day ones” around but sometimes those day ones aren’t real ones. Friendship and loyalty are two conflicting topics that feed off of each other but who’s really real these days? Can we have both?
Going through friendship after friendship you tend to think just what is the pattern that is making you suspect your “friend” isn’t a real one. Situations and, life events can prove as a mirror to your friendships.
So where in all this does loyalty fit in? What is loyalty and why do we put so much emphasis on people being “loyal” to us.
“Loyalty is a strong feeling of support or allegiance.”
Now that we know what loyalty really means how many of us can say ALL of our “friends” support us? That’s there for them when they’re sick, broke and hurt? Support your dreams, goals, and aspirations. Push you to be better, help you stay out of drama and glow up?
Or do you only have friends that are there when you’re supplying bottles, driving your car, opening your door when there’s is shut?
Well I am here to tell you it’s time to cut that bihh off
Real friends, loyal friends are hard to come by, so I suggest you think it through whose a real one, and whose a fake one?
Part III coming soon…
